The Tally Ho
The story of The Tally Ho is rooted in a proud family legacy that began with the iconic Club 2000 in Rayners Lane in 2000. Founded by Hemu and Sandy, the restaurant quickly became known for its authentic Indian cuisine, inspired by traditional home cooking and flavours shaped by both Indian and African heritage.
The family’s philosophy has always been centred around consistency, genuine hospitality and attention to detail. Sandy continues to oversee the kitchens, ensuring every dish is prepared with the same passion and quality that built their reputation.
Today, the next generation continues to grow this legacy, with a portfolio of restaurants, bars and hospitality venues across Wembley, Luton, Gerrards Cross and now North Finchley. Their vision remains simple — to create welcoming spaces where guests can enjoy exceptional food, handcrafted drinks and unforgettable experiences.
Our Story
Situated at the iconic Tally Ho Corner in North Finchley, The Tally Ho has been part of the local community since 1927. The name reflects the area’s historic coaching heritage, when horses were once kept here for the Birmingham mail coach route.
Today, this heritage continues in a modern setting, where The Tally Ho offers a stylish Indian pub experience, combining authentic cuisine, signature cocktails and a lively yet refined atmosphere.
